You will have to re add your email accounts here is the answer:

MENU-SETTINGS-APPLICATIONS- MANAGE APPLICATIONS- SELECT ALL- MAIL- FORCE STOP – CLEAR DATA- THEN REINSTALL YOUR EMAIL ACCOUNTs.

This worked I have tested several times.

Nothing like having your old bosses email show up in your send to history and almost email him a few times instead of your new boss…. or old girlfriend instead of new girlfriend.. imagine this has happened too many times. Google needs to come up with a easy way to delete these, this is a major issue.
