I really like this card for bitcoin mining, I can run my phoenix mining script and it doesn’t affect my processor speed allowing me to use my computer AND bitcoin. I big plus of the 5770 is the low power compsumption, I didn’t have to upgrade my power supply. I kept 430 W power supply which I was using before with my Nvidia 9500 GT with my Dell 518.

ATI HD 5770

I got it from Amazon.com a great deal.

XFX ATI Radeon HD 5770 1 GB DDR5 2DVI/HDMI/DisplayPort PCI-Express Video Card HD577XZNFC

Here is my bat file.

phoenix -k phatk DEVICE=0 AGGRESSION=6 VECTORS BFI_INT FASTLOOP=false WORKSIZE=256

I am getting over 175 mHash/s without overclocking.

This is the power supply I am using, its only a 430W power supply which is nice. I wanted to use the lowest power supply possible.

I did some research on this.  It’s the default power management settings.  The new windows 7 systems are set to sleep/hibernate, and also the following option is set to require a password on wakeup.  Changing this to No resolves this issue.  Control Panel>>>Power Options>>Change Plan Settings>>Change Advanced power settings>>Change settings that currently unavailable>>change require password on wakeup to no.    (Not recommended for laptops.)
