Solved – Extend C Drive (System Partition) in Windows 10 for free.

Use recovery partition to add space to C drive in Windows 10.

  1.  First go to the application recovery drive.
  2. Create a recovery drive
  3. At the end of the process select to delete recovery partition.
  4. The head over to this link to download a free partition tool.
  5. First delete the volume for the old recovery partition, example drive E.
  6. Then right click on the empty volume and  select MERGE Partitions.
  7. Select C and E to merge.
  8. Apply then you will get prompted to reboot.

I just did this process of a Surface Pro with Windows 10 and was able to add about 7.5GB to my C drive.

Drive Not Recognized By Bios After Reboot, Only Shutdown – Kingston SSD

So I upgraded one of my users laptops today to a SSD drive. Specifically a SSD Now 300 Kingston drive. Everything worked fine but upon reboot drive would not be detected.

After calling Kingston support (they were great) they sent me a link to a firmware to downgrade the drive to. I am posting since its not available on their website. After downgrading the firmware all is well. Reboots now work just fine.

Here is a link, I hope this helps someone else.
